she said she had it networked by a tech who is no longer in our area...is there a way to disable the restrictions?

              HAHA

              so true.

so far two stories and three personalities.

Let's analyze it shall we, since there no way this thread can become productive anyway.

Which basically says: "my sister put admin restrictions on my PC, how do I remove them."

The proper answer to which of course is:

              Check with your sister.

All of a sudden, there is no sister, and now it's at work!

Thanks for your replies  No one at work  should be using my computer for access & I do not have a sister

              but wait! suddenly there IS!

she said she had it networked by a tech who is no longer in our area...is there a way to disable the restrictions?

Anyway, before this thread get's locked, you might want to look at the forum rules. We don't help circumvent school restrictions. Note I specifically say "school" not "company" since there is no way a person who can hold down a job has the people skills of a screwdriver and a way with words that is about equal to a stoat.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

"Shirley" thought they were responding to "Millkman's" response to their "Pop up messaging" thread; also in the Networking subforum.

It put the entire thread into a "death" spiral...  Way to go Shirley!  Four more and you'll be an "Ace".  (And it only took a single shot - now that's marksmanship!)
