Added new memory

I know that the memory I added is compatible with my computer, I checked before buying. But I'm not sure if my computer recognizes the new hardware or not, How can I find out?
Help would be greatly appreciated.

In Windows, right-click My Computer, select Properties, it's shown at the bottom of the window.

It may show during POST when testing memory.

It is possible that you have to disable Quick Boot before you can actually see the POST.
