1. system restore 2, search

1. When I access system restore in windows XP, all I get is the heading "system restore" the rest of the page is blank which means I cannot see restore points.
 2. When I access windows search, the panel asking for search criteria is blank meaning I cannot enter a search subject.

1.  The following links look very promising...  Please note, the fix for "blank" system restore dialog will probably fix "blank" search dialog as it reregisters "jscript.dll" file.
