    Font size in Outlook Express
    « on: March 04, 2010, 01:49:29 PM »
When I set the font size as, say, Ariel Regular 12, in Outlook Express, the print I get on the monitor gives me a different font size.  How to solve this problem plse?

Can you be more specific with your question?

Do you mean the new font size your trying to change on outlook express reverts back to the original/new larger size?

      Try Print Preview...

Sometimes guessing without asking frustrates the questionnaire.
I was hoping to avoid that thanks.

(If) you mean print preview 'Guzeppi',
You'll always notice a difference in font.
Try printing your font to see if it's acceptable enough.

If the outcome is too small, adjust it accordingly.

And not providing enough information and making it necessary to guess in the first place frustrates the respondents.

and wouldn't calling the OP a inanimate survey tool be more likely to frustrate them?

You can use two methods so the print\font looks OK on the screen as you stated in the original post:

        1)  To set Font preferences for just the current email you are creating:

In a New Message window, click on the Format button, select Font and make your settings.

        2)  To set Default preferences for all emails:

Open Outlook Express and select Tools \ Options from the top menu.
        Click on the Compose tab.
Make your changes in the Compose Font section.
        Click Apply \OK .
