I have two separate copies of windows, and I am trying to get one of them installed on my currently OS-less netbook. I have an Xp home install disc, but after the computer says that it has to reboot to continue, it claims that there is some corrupted or missing .dll file in the system32 folder.
On the other hand, I have a .gbi file for xp professional, but I do not know how to take that .gbi file and make it bootable from my flash drive. One thing I have tried was to burn it as an OS install disc and then tranfer the disc version to the flash drive using WinToFlash, but it said that it was not an install disc.
Specifics:
netbook has 3 usb's and an SD port, but no disc drive. Its a Dell Mini with Intel Atom.
I also have access to a desktop with a disc drive, so if there is anything that is needed for, I can use it. The desktop has xp home on it.
Thanks!
