DynastyWarriors6 Unable to detect sound device

For my Dynasty Warriors 6 for the PC.

I install it then when i go to play it it says "unable to detect sound device" then it closes so i am UNABLE to play the game.

I have no other problems playing any other game like dragon age and prototype and etc..

AMD quad-core  3.0ghz
4 gb of DDR2 ram.

everything should be good.  please help...

ya i try all kinds of settings there is only thing that made it change was 256 color andt that just made it says "dw6.exe encountered a error and needs to close" so on and so on.

any other ideas? this is a frustrating problem....

Hi, did you get this game from a torrent site or did you buy it? If you bought it legally there are updates on the main website (http://www.dynastywarriors6.co.uk/) that should fix your issues. One more thing, could you please tell the operating system your are currently trying to play this game on?

im running xp service pack 3. it a store copy
