    laptop hdd question

    I had a dell laptop, I want to transfer my info and pics from my laptop hdd to my desktop. What kind of cable, or adapter do I need to do this, and can it be done? Thanks

    2.5" laptop to IDE connecter...
    About 8 Bucks at any PC store...

    Or you can upload the pics to a file storage site and DLoad them to the desktop...
    Or you can set up a network connection as well...

    Can you tell us the model number of the laptop?

    It depends on the laptop. It might be a SATA hard drive in the laptop. If that's the case, you won't need any adapters. It should plug straight into any ordinary SATA data/power cables in a desktop.

      It's not a sata drive, and the computer is in pieces, so I would most likely need the cable
