Just try 1st option, "Write image file to disc".

Also, how do I disable network booting? I cannot see an option for this.
What options are listed?

In the boot order section of the setup menu, there is only the option to move it up or down the list, should I put it right to the bottom of the list so the network boots last?

Okay, I have burned the file to my USB flash drive, but now I have another problem. After the ACER logo has appeared at startup, the screen goes black with the little cursor in the top and stays like that. I am sure this is something to do with the flash drive or the program on it. What do I do to prevent this?

Is external USB listed first in BIOS boot order?

I believe, that blinking cursor happens because for some reason USB stick is not bootable.
        Is this netbook under warranty?

I think it is. Will it work if I use another USB flash drive or a different USB port?

          I'd contact Acer then.

Oh and, my acer has that e recovery system. there is the option to restore the computer and reinstall windows, but it'll delete everything off the C drive. I'm not sure if there is a partition in the hard disk but is there a way of keeping everything on the C Drive? Like using a flash drive?

If the hard drive can be accessed, you can slave the drive in another computer (or use USB hard drive enclosure) to save your data.
