i'm running vista with IE8, but every website i vist that has a browser detect script alerts me that i'm running IE6.
if i go to microsoft.com to upgrade the browser, their detection script says i have IE8 installed so why am i getting this IE6 message? some web sits will not give me access as they think i'm running IE6.
any help would be appreciated in solving this problem.
