    Browser Toolbar Help Please.
    « on: April 17, 2010, 10:50:33 PM »
    Hello and thank you for looking at my post.

    I want to get rid of the gaps in the browser tool bar at the top, so I downloaded a toolbar manager and ended up with an extra line added to it.
    Now I can't get rid of it, and when I disable it (I thought it was the right one) I got a totally different browser Header.
    I took a shot of them. I'll see if I can load them.

    Shot 1 shows the disabled feature Toolbar.

    I cant get shot 2 unless I restart FF. ::) :-\

    Can some one tell me how to make the viewing area larger and with less of these unused icons please.

    Thank you ImnoGuru. :)

    Typically in FF you can turn on and off tool bars using

    view > tool bars and uncheck the ones you don't want.

    However I'm not sure how your tool bar manager fits into this, but try this first.  You might want to disable your tool bar manager is this doesn't work.

    Also, if you can turn off some of the tool bars but want an even bigger screen FF has a compact tool bar add on.

      Hi and thank you for your reply rthompson80819.

      Yes that was indeed the intent... to get a larger viewing area by removing some of the unused toolbar lines.

      I downloaded the toolbar manager to help cure the unused lines and features but it went too far and just gave me a basic toolbar without the "File Edit View... so on" and the webpage entry panel is fully extended to the entire length of the browser window.
