Safari not staying connected to wireless network
    « on: March 16, 2010, 09:28:17 AM »

I have a teacher that uses her Macbook extensively to update her class pages on our school website. At home she can use Safari with no problem, but when she brings the computer to school Safari loses the school's wireless network. I have put it in, had her close Safari, restart it and the wireless is not there. She has IE as well as Firefox, she does not like IE and there is a programming problem between the website and Firefox.
So, is there some setting I am missing? IE and FF stay connected to the network, why not Safari? She has the latest versions of Safari and FF.

    Thanks

    Griff

Create a new Location in the Network pane of System Preferences and re-enter your connection settings. Firefox pretty much ignores this panel, which might be why it can still connect.
