Norton security not only caused explorer to crash, my computer crashed. I cannot even restore from the start-up disks! Comcast said to call Norton, Norton said to call the manufacturer, and the manufacturer said to call Microsoft!

I KNOW it was the Norton download. Now I am out a computer.

New to the forums, but I own a computer repair business and have seen too many computers in my shop from the free Norton download crashing systems.

You are not alone! I'm totally irritated with this and it should be illegal what Norton is doing. Comcast should dump them as AV solution and just use Microsoft Security Essentials.

I have a blog on my website that talks about this more in depth.
