    Ram
    « on: December 28, 2009, 03:50:00 PM »
Recently I up'ed my RAM by adding another 1gig to the existing 256mb (or something like that), so what my problem is that, after I added another gig I didn't notice ANY change to the performance. I mean in the specs it says 1256mb RAM but in the performance there isn't any difference...Help?

Is there some specific area in which you expected to see a difference?

RAM u plugged into the computer is not matching with your computer's mother board.

REMEMBER ! when u extra installed RAM in computer the following :-

                     1)      Bus Speed
                     2)      RAM (DDR1 or DDR2, SDR) what is RAM categories
                     3)      Mother Board does support the high speed RAM or NOT (which will
be confirmed through NET by inserting mother board number, tags)

                     4)      Notice: any beep heard when u start the computer.

Hopefully it will solved your problems.

    with best wishes

@Allan Well yes I did. My computer is the slow type...really slow. So...=\

@Bashir Hmm...But I think that the RAM supports the motherboard (or the other way round)

        And I said Yes...
I guess I should have said what...well...I expected lots of things to happened faster. For instance, opening closing folders/files, on of computer. Browsers/softwares running faster. No lag etc...
