Windows vista startup display problem

k so whenever i startup my visa laptop the logon screen comes up but the ressolution has changed to 800x600 and changes all of my profiles back to 800x600 when it should be 1366x768
i changet back and restart my laptop but then everything changes back to 800x600 how do i keep it from changeing to 800x600?

    Hi,
       Please remove the graphics driver and download the latest graphics driver from your computer manufacturer's website and install. It seems there is some conflict in the driver.
    This should work.
