    For some reason when log in my AVG and Windows Defender Isn't on and it takes ages to for Windows Defender to come on. But when I try  to turn on AVG it never comes on so I just open it up. Oh and another thing I just been attempting to get Windows Defender open and it finally opened up but it said there was some sort of error then another message after that came up which was another error I didnt get the chance to read them and my computer just shut off completley Is there something wrong with my secuirity settengs?

    You could always try using 'microsoft security essentials'

    I had AVG on another computer that had issues. I have now switched to this product and never looked back.
    It was also recommended by one of our Malware specialists (1 in a few) so it stands up.

    Make sure you have only one AV running at a time. As in uninstal AVG
