I don't know what you mean by this..

I posted the link three posts ago.. Have at it if you want.  To save you the time in reading it though, I can sum it up and tell you, Kenter, the person who started the thread, had similar issues.  He got a mother board from eBay and he couldn't get Windows 7 to install with more than one stick of ram installed.  In fact he couldn't even get the computer to POST.  He bought a second motherboard, same model, and the same thing happened, although the results of using more than one stick of ram with the different boards were different, somewhat.  The installation did work using only one ram module on the second motherboard.  I don't think he ever got his setup to work with all three sticks, after the installation.  He never posted back on whether he bought compatible ram.

All were saying is, try the installation with only one stick of ram (in the slot closest to cpu) and see if you can get the installation to work.

I have ordered the correct ram recommended for this board and then we will see what happens.

      Thanks

May I say that Windows 7 installed without a hitch and the computer is now up and running. It was as many of you had said, the memory and the remedy was going to the MSI motherboard manufacturer website and finding out the correct ram recommended for this board and for some reason the book that came with the board did not specify exactly what the compatible ram was . I went online and found it at Newegg. So the lesson is just because it fits in the slot and says ddr3 does not mean it will work.

                                           Thanks again
