Can't disable tap to click on mouse?? Please help!

I don't see any Synaptics or chipset drivers available for XP from any of the following models on HP's site:

The chipset drivers are not officially available for this model thru HP website, but may be on the CD or alternatively AT YOUR OWN RISK use the driver based for this ICH8 chip series from Compaq, HP's subsidiary http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-52944-1&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3593060&os=228&lang=en

Looking at the Vi$ta drivers indicates the laptop features the ALPS Touchpad and not the Synaptics.  The driver posted below is listed as a generic software title match for all ALPS touchpads I guess.
