    Computer is down the tubes
    « on: April 08, 2010, 08:37:43 PM »
(I wasn't sure where to put this.)
My computer is constantly getting blue screens that have a bunch of white text on the monitor, ending with something about physical memory dump. Aside from that, I have also experienced rare problems with the computer freezing up. Also, I have more recently been getting in problems in the middle of playing a game where the screen goes blue and has a bunch of messed up white lines going across the screen. Aside from that, sometimes a "No Signal" sign pops up and my monitor fails to work.
Also, I get a rare occasion that the computer gives me beep signals.
Does anyone have any recommendations for what I should do?
I have scanned my computer with AT&T McAfee Security Suite before, and it found nothing.

Just about every blue screen has a Stop Code which gives lotsa clues as to the cause of a problem.

The beep pattern (code) can also give lotsa clues as to the cause of a problem.
