Laptop keeps auto-switched off due to overheat
    « on: April 16, 2010, 12:06:38 AM »
My DELL laptop easily swtiched off everytime the cooler fan speed increase. The laptop has been 3 years. When it was new it never swtiched off like that. Anything goes wrong with my computer?

I never have a cooler pad for my laptop. Is the cooler pad really essential for a notebook user?

It's more essential to keep the cooling fan in the laptop clean and running well.  It may also need some new thermal paste for the CPU.
