Secondary disk 0 and 1 not found
    « on: April 16, 2010, 09:34:45 AM »
When booting, bios black screen comes up stating that secondary disk drive 0 not found, secondary disk drive 1 not found.

I have a CD Rom TDK drive and a Sony DVD Rom drive. Apparently, they don't work. The TDK had its light coming on and off and running and stopping every 2/3 seconds. This is abnormal for sure. There was nothing in the drive. Does this mean they are/have failed? Or is this coming from the motherboard? What can I do?

You could test them in another machine.
If they work, it's the fault of the motherboard and bios.
If they don't and the problem repeats itself, it's the drives.
