    i am new to mac i download yahoo for mac and it tells me the application that created the file cannot be found i dont know why.please help!!!!it does that with anything that i download

      Hi, you can try to download it in other site and then save it to your desktop then it doesn' t get "lost".

      good point- I don't know if they use the same msg in OSX but the message they mention is in OS 8.6, so they might be using an older version.
