    RROD repair on xbox
    « on: May 25, 2010, 06:12:23 PM »
Hi, I'm thinking of repairing a RROD'ed xbox from ebay as I'm watching my money. Is there any other common xbox malfunctions that ill need to worry about ontop of RROD

Unless it's past warranty. Although, I did hear that the RROD warranty is 3 years. BUT, you need proof of purchase.

You really just need your physical Xbox.
I had to send my xbox in for repair about a month ago.
All I did was read my serial number, they gave me a repair code, and I took it to the shop.

It would be a better idea just to send it in, even if it did work, that would void the warranty for future repairs.
If you dont know DOS, you dont know Windows...

Thats why Bill Gates created the Windows NT Family.

That would DEFINITELY void the warranty.
