    1) Why would you post this in the networking forum?
    2) You've been here long enough to know that the subject should relate to your problem rather than "help".
    3) You need to provide a LOT more details about the problem and what led up to it.

And after nicely pointing out your mistake in posting I told you that you need to provide a lot more information if you want any help.

I had the same problem..was told to use    msconfig   which is a systems file I think and disable all the startup probrams that are not needed and this would save time in booting up..I left the first three or four programs opened and disabled the remaining 15 to 20 or so, and now my computer boots in 2 minutes, whereas it would take a  a minimum of 5 mintues or more..I am not real computer savy, but this helped me...

To WRD newbee, thanks for your help.I'm almost afraid to ask another question on this site,as some people tend to be very rude.

Look, nobody was rude to you. I NICELY pointed out the mistakes you made and asked for more information so we could provide some intelligent assistance.. But rather than provide that information, all you've done is complain.

If you think they way you answered my posting was nice, then I certainly wouldn't want to ask you anything again, you was very rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,there I said it again. My computer has already been fixed without your smart answers. Please reframe from replying to this post,as you probably don't know how to fix anything. The only thing that needs adjusting now is your attitude.

The very first line in every help forum is "Please read this first" posted by the CH administrator.  You need to read this.  If you had read it first you would realize that none of Allans questions were really out of line.

When you post in the wrong forum some of the people that can help you may not read that forum.

And you really did need a lot more information about your computer for anybody to even guess what's going on.
