    Hi everybody!thanks for your help.I need advice on how to calculate what power supply do i need.I have stock Hp 6250 with 1 hard drive ,1 DVD Rom,.I`m changing CPU from dual core to quad core (95 W instead of 65W E5300),adding blu ray burner Pioneer and possibly will add videocard(one of GeForce 98ooGT).My computer have 300W power supply.Hp support says its compatible with 300W PSU.Onestly I doubt it.Advise please!

      Here's a power supply calculator
      I haven't used it in a while but it should still work.
      If not just type in 'calculate power supply' into google

        My guess is the psu is not enough for the new cpu & a new video card.  I'd say 500W and the calculator confirms that.  BTW, always best to look at the total +12V amps and not the total watts.
