F2 made one short beep that was not repeatable. Also this had no other effect (could not get into BIOS; no way of telling if hard drive was recognized).
Anyway, I let it just sit over night. This morning I pressed F2, it beeped but immediately brought me to the bios. I honestly didn't know what I was looking at for the mot part, so I just exited (discarding changes). This time it booted all the way up into Windows desktop screen and I was greeted with this message:
