    Video Processing
    « on: May 17, 2010, 11:29:19 PM »
    Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can offer a suggestion about what I can do about my video processing software.

Under XP and Vista I was using the software from my capture card (Neo DVD) to convert VHS tapes to MPEG-2, and then using Video Edit Master to trim the resulting file, and then using Handbrake to convert the MPEG-2 file to H.264.

When I upgraded to Windows 7, Video Edit Master did not work anymore. Looking for other free alternatives, I downloaded AVI Demux, but the files it produces cannot be read by Handbrake.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there another video file trimmer that is more widely accepted that I should be using?

    Thanks.
