    Cardfile on WIN98 SE
    « on: May 19, 2010, 01:39:52 PM »
I have been given an old laptop which is ideal for what I need doing some research Off Line). It is WIN98SE. I thought I would be able to read some Cardfile files on this but could not. I went to the link below to try and get Cardfile running but keep getting :
"The file was not found. Verify that you have selected the correct Restore from location and try again"

I have tried two WIN98 Cds and a WIN95 CD, so guess I am doing something wrong?
The CD Drive is "D" and I have put "D:\win98"

Tried the "Find" system, but could not find "cardfile.exe" on either WIN98 or 95 disks.

Any suggestions what to try please?

You will not find the file.  It's contained within one of the CAB files.  Did you follow the instructions in the link you provided?

Thanks Patio, I will give that a try.
Yep, even printed out the instructions and went through several times carefully.
