Problem with Asus p6t deluxe and Soundmax drivers
« on: May 30, 2010, 06:05:45 AM »
Hi, my first post!

Anyway, I have:

Asus P6T Deluxe and the SoundMAX2000B_Audio_V610X6585_Windows7 driver for it, which should work just fine on my Windows 7.

I want to stream video + audio ( from game and from ventrilo ), with the FME ( Flash Media Encoder ) program, so I went in control panel,
enabled "Stereo Mix", but when I try selecting it in FME, it says that either the device is corrupted or being in use.

So I have disabled everything from startup ( including MSN Messenger and Skype ), but the problem remains.

I have tried looking for Some other SoundMAX drivers, but with no success. I did install some Realtek ones, but those don't have "Stereo Mix" in Recording devices.

Is there a way I can see which device is using "Stereo Mix" ?

Thanks for help  ???
