Start and then Run and type Regedit
And go to the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software

Microsoft

Windows

CurrentVersion

Explorer

RemoteComputer

NameSpace

You'll find the bottom of the following value:
(D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF)

Make sure of the value it is!!

If it is delete it by clicking the right mouse button and choose Delete.
You will notice the speed of browsing.

Advice?
Avoid dubious 'fixes' that require you to edit the registry.
Try Sea Monkey instead.

that only works in win9x NT4/2000.

XP and later have the bug in that particular component fixed. (fixed mstask.dll)
