So, a little while ago I had a hard drive crash and called a tech to try & recover what data he could. He recovered alot of my data and placed it on an external hard drive. Now, I got a new computer and attempted to import some of the data from the external hard drive but I keep getting "access denied" messages. The old comp was running WinXP pro and the new is running Win7 home.
Any idea what the problem could be? Or how to fix it or work around it?
