If you tried updating your video driver, then it's the graphics hardware. Replace it.
In fact, the entire thing points to failed Video memory- corrupted geometry coordinates, broken 2-D display, etc.
the reason for all this is the pc NEVER used to do any of this!
Let me tell you a story. One time I had a wheelbarrow. it was a good wheelbarrow.
Then the wheel fell off. So I took it to the expert wheelbarrow fixer. I told him my problem- it refused to move, like it was stuck in the the ground, ever since I started having this problem with the missing wheel. The wheelbarrow repairman told me that I would need to replace the wheel, to which I replied, "the reason for all this is the wheelbarrow never did this before".
As you can see, that makes very little sense. The fact is that when something breaks, by definition it's going to do things that it wouldn't have done before. Not working properly is one of the most common symptoms.
