Windows 7 Virus Preventing Internet Access!!

Can somebody help me?  I have seen someone else's issues just like mine get solved here, so I am hoping that I can recieve the same help.  Please, I need to get my laptop back up and running for school!!

Oh, yeah, and of course, I'm using another computer, but I have a flash drive to transfer things

Can you post what is wrong? And your machines specs?

I know you can't get to the internet but what happened before....what errors do you get?

Have you tried to run any antivirus software?

Download a virus installer and an anti-spyware installer, then transfer them to the affected computer, install and run, and let us know if there's any change.

If you're not sure which ones to get, I recommend Avast! and Spybot (both free).

I've downloaded Avast, and its scanning now, so far its found 2 infected files... will it fix it or do I have to buy a full version for it to fix my issues?

The free version will fix everything it finds. The fact that it found two infected files might be a good sign towards fixing your computer.
