only when i move my mouse.

Very odd problem here. It just started this morning and has been sporadic.  When I am watching a video or I click on a button such as "new topic" on this site my computer seems to come to a complete stop until I move my mouse. Video's will stop and on a link, the progress bar doesn't move until I again, move my mouse.

Any ideas?

I did that when I first noticed the problem and it seemed to work for a while. I did it again after posting this and so far it hasn't returned. Any idea what's causing it?

maybe the computer was going on to stand by ?

Boot to safe mode and see if you have the same problem

Well so far today it hasn't happened again. I did run my norton anti virus so maybe that cleared it up. I'd just never seen something like this happen before.  Once again, CH comes through............
