    gateway 1450 laptop won't boot to bios screen

    turns on,  checks dvd etc. then just sits on no bios screen,changed memory,hard drive ,systems,dvd drive,was runings fine ,went in bios and ajusted settings to improve boot, now no boot to bios screen ,pushed reset button,on and off jeff

    Whatever BIOS changes you made could very well be the cause...
    Power down and remove the CMOS battery for 5 minutes with the battery removed....
    This will reset the BIOS to defaults...
