    PC wont shut down. help please

    I have a Compaq Evo D500 small form factor PC running Windows XP just updated with SP 2 &3. Just installed USB Hub. And wireless Dongle.  Now it wont shut down,but re-starts as if I had pressed the Re-Start button. Please Help! Regards John.

      Remove the USB hub and wifi dongle and see if it shut downs properly.

        Well I think I have solved this one! (well sort of), When I click Stand By, it shuts down, no trouble at all, (very strange). Thanks for your help, Regards John.
