Ive been having a problem with my computer since Thursday (7/8/10) and something keeps muting my sound and cause IEpopup but the funny thing is the iepop ups dont show, they only reason I know they are there is because i hear the music/talking/whatever the popup has and I keep task manager open and whenever the pop up shows up the it shows 2 iexplorer.exe only occasionally will a visble pop up showup. Ive ran everything from super to mcafee and they've all had their own little info come up but nothing is getting rid of it.
P.S Mcafee has more then once asked me to restart so that it can completely remove a trojan by the name of fakealert-fakespy!env.a aswell as artemis, and Ive restated but they still show up.

and Here is a copy of my HIJACKTHIS log I ran.Hopefully someone can send me in the right direction, because when I get 2 steps from peoples advice I go back 15 steps and end up nowhere.

If this isnt enough information just ask me and I'll try to get what I can.
p.s.s :The sound and IE pop ups only come up when Im on the internet and I DONT use IE at all so thats what really confuses me I only use firefox.so if Im not using the internet my sounds fine and not any popup but otherwise.

Download Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to the desktop to remove Windows Messenger.

Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

Unzip the file on the desktop. Open the MessengerDisable.exe and choose the bottom box - Uninstall Windows Messenger and click Apply.

Exit out of MessengerDisable then delete the two files that were put on the desktop.
