How to REMOVE this entry from within msconfig?
    « on: July 17, 2010, 01:39:49 AM »
    Hello There! 8)

After reading 'Windows XP Tweak' articles, I made this entry within SYSTEM.INI tab of msconfig utility(Refer to the Screenshot, please).

Now I can surely disable the same BUT isn't there a way to permanently make it disappear from the screen?

WELCOME screen upon boot has started showing up for a longer duration & I suspect this to be culprit. :o

Help me get a permanent rid of this entry please!

Just open the system.ini file with your text editor and delete the line, then save the file. You should not use msconfig to make permanent changes to anything, only to troubleshoot.
