    when on a video skype call is the video images stored on any temp files on the hard drive. If so how do you remove them to better the computers performance?

    No, they are streamed directly to your skype program, and not cached. To generate video files on the fly would use a lot of CPU time and case skyoe to have performance issues because of it.
