    Set Associations Error
    « on: July 29, 2010, 06:13:04 PM »
    Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me, I have been searching everywhere and I can not figure this out.
For every program I attempt to access, I get the following error:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing ths action.  Create an association in the Set
    Associations Control Panel.

I have attempted to download an Ink registry file as well as a regadit.exe search, but neither have worked.
Is there any way to resolve this?

This originally occurred due to a Defense Center virus that made the PC think it had a file, and downloaded the
Defense Center program.  I was able to get rid of that, but now have this issue.

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Download and run exeHelper.

    * Please download exeHelper from Raktor to your desktop.
    * Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
    * A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.

Thanks for the reply, but when I tried to download it, it gave me a Destination Folder Denied.  Any suggestions?

Most likely, your computer is still infected.

Try to download it on working computer and move it to bad computer, using USB flash drive.

      Successful, or not....
