    My single most favorite? Flashblock for sure.

    Ad blockplus also.

    An ad in that I like, although it may or may not have any practical purpose, is Flagfox.  It will pinpoint where the server you are connected to is located, not just to the country, but down to the street level.

    Absolute favourite has to be tabmixplus for me. Although it is only one of a set of base addons I always have installed, which includes GreaseMonkey, Firebug, DownloadHelper, IETabPlus, InspectThis, AdBlockPlus, etc.
