    Volume Control Problem
    « on: August 03, 2010, 03:22:33 AM »
Hey, I am running Vista 32 bit and I am having a problem with volume control.  I am listening to music on Windows Media Player at the same time as talking to somebody on Skype.  But when I turn down the volume for WMP only it doesn't work, so I have to listen to the music really loud or else I won't hear my friend on Skype.

And you don't think it's rude to have music playing on your system while speaking with someone via Skype? Try it without WMP active and see what happens.

The thing I don't understand is when you say ...

But when I turn down the volume for WMP only it doesn't work, so I have to listen to the music really loud or else I won't hear my friend on Skype.
    ...

it seems that you can't hear your friend's voice if your music is not loud enough???
