HELP!! virus removal help
« on: August 08, 2010, 11:07:31 PM »
ok so i have a fairly new windows vista hp.  ran smooth until a month ago when my mozilla firefox started acting up.
here are my symptoms
2 out of 5 websites i visit get redirected to www.google-anayltics.com and never load
pop ups galore
some sites get redirected to other nonsense bs ads
pages take a bit longer than usual to load
this only seems to be happening to mozilla.

i have uninstalled/installed firefox a good 6 times and it seems to come back.  i have run a spybot, kapersky, and avg and even the windows defender scan. spybot says my hp is free of junk, kapersky always finds something and cleans it and avg does the same.  i have read it many other places that i might have the tdss virus and i have also run the rootkit killer from kapersky a few times and it says that it hasn't found a thing.  i have tried to look for the tdss virus using the hidden devices trick where you look for the non plug devices and nothing.

i am not ultra comp savvy but i can follow directions and i can maneuver myself around a comp fairly well.

any suggestions??
