Hard disk failure
« on: July 26, 2005, 04:00:22 PM »
Hi
I bought a 4.32G Fujitsu hard drive from Ebay
(4.32G because I only needed it for one purpose: playing an old school game)
Anyway, I installed the Windows 2000 first on the hard drive. But unfortunately, the game didn't play on 2000.
So I decided to install the WINDOWS XP. And guess what? My hard disk shrinked to 2.12G!
I tried virus check, bad sector check, clean up and everything I could, but I couldn't fix it...
Can someone help me out please?

Repartition the HDD.

I do not know why you would bother installing Window XP on a 4.32GB HDD.
