Also, have him check this:
1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools
2. Select Internet Options
3. In the Internet Options dialog box, select the Advanced tab
4. Remove the checkmark from the check box next to "Display a notification of every script error"
5. Make sure there is a checkmark in the check boxes next to "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other)"
6. On the Security tab, select Internet and click the Custom Level button
7. In the Security Settings dialog box, make sure the Enable option button is selected for "Active scripting" and for "Allow paste operations via script" and for "Scripting of Java applets" (if Prompt, rather than Enable, is selected he will keep getting the messages as he surfs the Web)
8. Click OK to save the changes and close the Security Settings dialog box
9. Click OK to save the changes and close the Internet Options dialog box
