Graphics issue in linux!!!
« on: August 13, 2010, 06:05:58 PM »
Hey, I am running a dual-boot configuration on my desktop with 64-bit Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux 9.10. Everything works fine and all, except in ubuntu it won't let me go with the extra visual effects. It will only let me let me go with NONE, which I am already bored with. I was previously using my onboard ATI Radeon HD 4200 GPU, but now I bought the XFX Radeon HD 4350 graphics card to use with Windows, but after that is when I installed linux on another partition. I'm wondering if linux is not recognizing my graphics card, or if I just need to install a video driver. If that's the case, I would LOVE to know where I can get this driver. Btw, my desktop doesn't have internet connection, but I have a laptop which I use wirelessly. Thanks :)
