recurring items in "startup" of MSConfig

I have 2 things that keep returning to the "startup" list in MSConfig: "EnsoniqMixer starter.exe" and "sp rundll32 c:\windows\\se.dll,DllInstall" The first has something to do with sound and is annoying only because it takes up system resources. I'm not sure what the second is for, but the folder keeps changing every time I delete the dll file named.

Any suggestions?

google the se.dll file also...it says it's a hijacker.  get hijackthis and see if it works.

 Use the Search >>for the dll......and when you find it .....right click on it.....then properties.....what does it say?

I already knew that Starter.exe was legit, I just don't want it running because the games I play need all the memory I can give them.

As for SE.dll, telling me to remove it doesn't help because it keeps re-creating itself in new folders every time I delete it.

What I really need to know is how to keep the damned line in MSConfig from re-forming.

If your system is open to spyware, you're not using the system half as efficiently as you think you are.

Download hi-jack this >>>http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html  and remove it........or create a new folder and drag and drop it in there ......then delete it and re-boot pc.

Try Spyware Doctor and see if you can find all of the elements of se.dll and remove them manually.
