Thumbnails for video clips don't appear
    « on: August 20, 2010, 06:31:16 AM »
This only happened last week. In my video folder where my documents is the thumbnails for any of my videos won't show up, either it be an .avi .mpg or .wmv. I uninstalled my ffshow drivers and downloaded the new version of it and still have the same problem. They play fine with windows media player. Any help would be great.

    My specs:
    Windows XP Pro
    640mb RDRAM
Geforce FX 5200 256mb Graphics Card

Have you tried reassociating the files with the program to handle them such as right-click on a file and then select open with, then choose a program, then check the box for always use the selected program to open this type of file? Sometimes this fixes it by displaying the thumbs. You can also change the view to another view such as detailed view and back to thumbs to reinitialize this feature under VIEWS function of the opened folder containing the files.
