Im asking this question on behalf of a friend he's running Win Vista.
Every time he boots up the narrator window opens in the bottom corner of his screen he unchecks all the boxes to stop the narrator, but when he boots up again it opens up and he as to uncheck all the boxes again.
Thanks for any advise on how to stop this opening jhadd

Accessories, Ease of Access/Ease of Access Center, Explore all Settings, Use the Computer without a Display. Uncheck Turn On Narrator.

If it comes back, restart your computer, at the login screen at the lower left of screen you see the Ease of Access button. Left click and bingo a dialogue opens. There you can turn Narrator On/Off.
