Well...I guess, I assumed they're saved, that is suppossed to be the function of that transfer wiz....but who knows?

I do know that it shows a file size of 23,244kb and when I open it with Word, Notepad,etc... it shows page after page of gibberish...but as I said who knows??

There is no point in trying to open .DAT files with a text editor, as it is binary.

It seems that the Wizard is only meant to transfer settings, not files?

On the transfer it gives you the option...files..settings...files and settings...I chose the files and settings

I'm heading out to work..I'll be gone for 9 days...Maybe I just need to walk away from this for awhile....Maybe it's a lost cause.....Thanks for listening,,I'll check this site when I return, in case you come up with something....
                                          Thanks !!
