Removal of malware.

I am new to using a computer.  In order to remove malware accquired by using the internet, can I learn to do this in a fairly shsort  time, or do I need to use a computer support company?

Since you are new to computers you will probably have to study for over two years. I've been studying for over 3 years. There is a lot of information to learn.
